  • MTA beefs up on flu prevention

    The MTA is allocating $2.5 million in its tight budget to help fight the spread of the H1N1 virus, according to budget documents released Wednesday. Next year, the agency will buy extra vaccines, gloves and hand sanitizer for employees regularly in public contact, such as bus drivers and workers given out written material, a spokesman said.
