Cops busted an MTA bus driver Sunday night for allegedly holding his ex-girlfriend hostage on the Bronx bus he was driving, officials said Monday.

Michael Luca, 29, was arrested at about 8:50 p.m. Sunday after he wouldn't let his ex get off the bus and didn't listen to cops' demands that he let her go, police said, adding that she was the only passenger on board the express bus at the time.

A police spokesman said he was unsure when or why the unidentified woman had boarded on the bus.

The MTA confirmed that Luca had worked for the agency since 2007, but refused to comment on the incident.

Luca was arrested on charges including unlawful imprisonment, obstructing government administration and resisting arrest. He was awaiting arraignment Monday night.
