If he doesn't watch his mouth, Donald Trump may one day hear his own catchphrase.

While NBC's chairman Bob Greenblatt told members of the Television Critics Association that he stands by the outspoken "Apprentice" host, he also warned Sunday that action could be taken if the business magnate goes too far, Deadline.com reported.

"If he becomes somehow hurtful and says or does things that cross a line, we would figure out what to do with that," Greenblatt said of Trump, who has regularly appeared on news shows with off-the-wall slams at the president.

Greenblatt joked that his network already kept Trump on a short leash.

"We talked him out of running for president, wasn't that good enough?" he asked.
