New Jersey Housewives talk table-flipping, babies, Danielle and more...

New Jersey Housewives Teresa Giudice and Dina Manzo were pretty tight-lipped about the new season. But the two did spill some secrets during a recent conference call. For one: There will be a new catchword to replace last season’s oft-used “bubbies.” Here’s what else they had to say.
Did you have reservations about putting your lives out there on a reality show? Did you expect it to get so dramatic?
Dina: Of course we had reservations, we turned it down twice. We never had any clue it would get that dramatic. If I had I wouldn’t have done it, but I don’t have any regrets.Teresa: It took me 11 months to sign the contract. The reason I decided to do it was because I knew I didn’t have any skeletons in the closet.
Teresa, you have a new cookbook called “Skinny Italian” coming out. Can you tell us about it?
These are recipes my mother made for me and ones I make for my daughters. The New York City “Housewives” focuses a lot on the ladies’ businesses. With Theresa’s cookbook coming out, will that happen in New Jersey?
Teresa: I wouldn’t say it’s a big focus, but you’ll see a little bit of that. We have more episodes than last season, so you’ll get to know a lot more about us.Dina, you and [sister-in-law] Jacqueline had your problems last year. Is everything okay now?
Yes. My favorite phrase of all is “This too shall pass.” Certainly Baby Nicholas was a factor that ended all the nonsense.Do either of you have a relationship with Danielle anymore?
Dina: Before the show, we didn't know each other. It's like a working relationship. Obviously, we're contracted to do a show with her.Teresa do you have any regrets from last season’s table- flipping?
No, it was, like, a build up. Finally, I just couldn’t take it no more. Do I regret it? Not all. I’ve never done something like that before. Would I do it again? Probably. It was like, enough’s enough.Dina, will see your husband on the show this season?
That’s a big fat no. My husband wanted nothing to do with it from Day 1. But I have to say it was the best decision of our lives. He’s like my self place. The one I turn to to get away from it all.Teresa, you just had your fourth daughter, any plans to go for a boy?
My husband would want a boy. But I’m done. My husband’s like, ‘we make such beautiful babies, we should have another one.’ I’m like, ‘No.’Would either of you consider getting plastic surgery in the future?
Dina: Oh yeah, definitely. I’m going to look like Joan Rivers when I’m older. What do you all think of Jersey Shore?
Teresa: Does that really happen? Yes. But it’s not something I’d want my children to watch.Dina: I’ve met a couple of them, and they’re nice people, but I think young America should be more responsible.
Teresa: I had a shore house, and I never made out with another girl in the hot tub.
