'The Artist'
This black-and-white silent film won seven Oscars and three Golden Globes, and deserved every one of them - probably even more. Quite frankly, this is a beautiful, inspired film that fires on all cylinders, from the excellent acting performances from stars Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo to the exquisite score by Ludovic Bource.
