No charges for Charlie Sheen in Plaza rampage
Party boy Charlie Sheen won’t be prosecuted for his Plaza Hotel rampage, when the allegedly drunk and coked-out actor damaged his hotel suite and caused his porn-star escort to hide for safety, according to published reports yesterday.
Police don’t think Sheen acted criminally and will close the case, TMZ.com reported.
The NYPD confirmed there isn’t an arrest, but wouldn’t say that the case is closed.
The probe began after the escort, Christina Walsh, aka Capri Anderson, 22, filed a criminal complaint last month alleging Sheen held her against her will and made her “fear for her life.”
“Charlie never physically abused her,” Sheen’s lawyer has said.
In October, after a booze-fueled dinner, Sheen, 45, and Walsh returned to his Plaza suite, where Sheen allegedly did coke. After losing his wallet and $165,000 watch, he flipped out, accusing Anderson of stealing them.
Anderson has rebuffed reports that she’s a hooker. Sheen’s reps didn’t return calls for comment.
