Nora Ephron dead at age 71

Famed writer and director Nora Ephron died Tuesday night at a New York hospital at the age of 71, according to published reports.
Ephron died from complications relating the blood disorder myelodysplasia, which she was diagnosed with six years ago, according to the Washington Post.
Ephron was best known for writing the screenplays for "When Harry Met Sally" and "Sleepless in Seattle," both of which she received she received Academy Awards nominations for. She was also nominated for writing the screenplay for the drama "Silkwood."
