NYPD releases video of suspect in L train fight that left 1 man dead
The NYPD yesterday released video of the man who allegedly started a fight on the L train Friday night that left a college student dead.
Joshua Basin, 20, of Howard Beach, was struck and killed by a train Friday after a fight allegedly started by the suspect spilled onto the track in the Bedford Avenue station on the L train.
The unidentified suspect pull himself onto the platform before a Manhattan-bound train entered the station, but Basin was stuck, officials said. He was pronounced dead when EMS workers got him to Bellevue Hospital.
The suspect police are looking for is described as white man in his early to mid-30s, with dirty blond hair and pock marks on the right side of his face. At the time of the fight, police say he was wearing brown pants, black rain jacket and black sneakers.
