An NYPD sergeant was arraigned Tuesday on charges of possessing and directing child pornography found on his laptop seized by police, according to officials.

Alberto Randazzo, 34, of Queens, was charged with 11 counts of using a child in a sexual performance, and 23 counts each of promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He faces up to 15 years in prison and was reportedly suspended without pay.

Police seized Randazzo's laptop Feb. 15 and allegedly found 11 videos in which he is heard telling adults to perform sexual acts on children, some as young as infants, according to the Queens District Attorney's office. He is due back in court March 5.
