Obama and hot dogs: Sign of the times?

Our Long Island friend (and Newsday.com uber-blogger) Mark LaMonica passes along this photo he snapped at the Gray's Papaya in the West Village with the comment, "a 50-cent frank place with a huge Obama sign on its front window."
Given the media frenzy today over Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment, figured we'd add to the fodder with a blog post analyzing the links between politics and red (and white) meat.
