President Barack Obama called Secret Service agents involved in a prostitution scandal in Colombia a "couple of knuckleheads," Tuesday, but said most of the agency's employees do a good job.
"These guys are incredible. They protect me, they protect Michelle, they protect our girls, they protect our officials all around the world," Obama said during a taping of an appearance on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" while visiting North Carolina.
"A couple of knuckleheads shouldn't detract from, you know, what they do," he added.
At least six out of a dozen agents tied to the incident have been forced out of the agency. The agents and other military personnel have been accused of bringing prostitutes back to their hotel in Cartagena. They were there in advance of Obama's trip to the country.
