Peter Facinelli files for divorce from Jennie Garth

"Twilight" actor Peter Facinelli made the headlines official and has filed for divorce from former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Jennie Garth after 11 years of marriage.
In the L.A. Superior Court petition filed Wednesday the actor cites the typical "irreconcilable differences" and seeks joint custody of their three daughters, reported People.
According to Facinelli, they separated on Jan. 1 - more than three months before the split was announced to the press.
