Police seek man on video with luggage in Harlem suitcase killing
A woman found stuffed in a suitcase near East Harlem’s famous Rao’s Restaurant was strangled, and police are seeking a mystery man spotted on video dragging luggage in the area.
A passerby reportedly saw the suitcase while rummaging through garbage nearby just after midnight yesterday. After opening it, a leg popped out and he called police. The victim, 28, who was last known to last Bronx, was not identified yesterday. The New York Post published a video of a man dragging a suitcase along 114th and First Avenue, near Rao’s, minutes before the body was discovered. Police said they were investigating the video, along with other footage from the area.
