Potter freaks ...um, fans gaga for 'Half-Blood Prince' trailer release
They have no more midnight book release parties to look forward too -- and not many films either -- so these days the release of a film trailer is enough to whip Harry Potter fans into a frenzy.
The trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the sixth book/movie in J.K. Rowling's boy wizard series dropped online last night at 9 p.m.and will debut on the big screen before screenings of "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" starting Friday.
(And you can bet there are Potter fans who will pay the $12 for a movie ticket to "Mummy" just to see the Hogwarts preview.) The film comes out Nov. 21.
But anyway, there's a particular reason for all the hype over this trailer - it's a first reveal of Tom Riddle, (see above) as a the young boy who would become the dark lord Voldemort. Ooohh chills! (Yes, we already saw the teenaged Riddle, but this is the kid version.)
