Huguette Clark, the reclusive heiress to a copper fortune who willingly spent decades of her life in city hospitals, left $33.6 million to a Brooklyn nurse who was randomly assigned to care for her 20 years ago, according to reports. Hadassah Peri was a "loyal friend and companion," Clark's will stated. Clark died last month at Beth Israel Medical Center at 104. The heiress also left $25 million to her goddaughter and $500,000 apiece to her lawyer and accountant, but she gave nothing to her surviving relatives.
