Report: Angelina Jolie slept with her mother's boyfriend
Talk about revenge.
Angelina Jolie slept with her mother’s live-in boyfriend when she was just 16 to spite her mom, reports published Tuesday said about an unauthorized biography of the star.
According to upcoming book by controversial celebrity chronicler Andrew Morton, it took years for Jolie, 34, to make amends with her mom, Marcheline Bertrand, after she learned of the shocking tryst. Bertrand was in love with the unidentified man, but dumped him after she found out about the affair, sources told British celebrity tabloid Now magazine.
Jolie was reportedly heartbroken when Bertrand died of cancer in 2007.
“When Ange admitted the story to her brother James just a few weeks ago, even he turned on her. She has hardly anyone left in life who likes or trusts her,” the source told the magazine.
Jolie’s lawyer did not return a call for comment yesterday.
Morton specializes in controversial, unauthorized biographies about A-list celebrities like Madonna and Tom Cruise. The Jolie biopic is due out in the winter.
