Report: Male administrators in Brooklyn school raped, threatened and exploited female students
An assistant principal at a Brooklyn high school raped a 17-year-old girl in 2009, according to a report by the Special Commissioner of Investigation for the New York City School District.
The report said that William Abreu, the assistant principal at Progress High School for Professional Careers, has been suspended without pay since June 2012. Another school employee was also accused of sex abuse in the report, which was sent to the Brooklyn DA for review. Attorney information for Abreu was not available.
