'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo'
Director David Finch tackles the popular mystery novel by Stieg Larsson that everyone has read - except for me. Rooney Mara ("The Social Network") plays the title role, aka Lisbeth Salander, and garnered an Oscar nomination for her work. (DVD, $30.99; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $40.99)
'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy'
Gary Oldman adroitly takes on the role of British spy George Smiley in this Oscar-nominated adaptation of John le Carré's novel. Smiley is a retired agent brought back into the field to smoke out a high-ranking mole in the agency. (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $34.98)
If you couldn't see it on Broadway (where it was called "God of Carnage"), director Roman Polanski brings this darkly comic drama to the big screen. (DVD, $30.99; Blu-ray, $35.99)
Over the hill
This baby-sitter comedy pits Jonah Hill against a bunch of kids, but sadly it will likely be remembered as the last movie Hill did before his dramatic weight loss. (DVD, $29.98; Blu-ray, $39.99)
