Never one to mince words, Richard Belzer Wednesday joked about sodomy and gave a Nazi salute to Fox News on "Good Day New York."
The "Law and Order: SVU" star was on the Fox 5 morning show plugging the crime drama, when co-host Rosanna Scotto suggested that her on-air partner David Price resembles the 68-year-old actor enough to play his brother on "SVU."
"A thought," Belze said. "If he gets molested" and something far more graphic that can't appear in a family newspaper.
The somewhat panicked co-hosts tried to recover from the quip, but Belzer followed up: "Say Heil to your colleagues at the other division," along with a Nazi salute.
A rep for Belzer reportedly said the Nazi joke was a "satirical gesture toward Fox News whose ideology he is opposed to," the quip was "pertaining to the material of Richard's TV show, which he tweaked at the last minute to make about furniture. A joke is a joke."
