Natalie Cole will ring in the New Year with a show at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 31 and another at 9 p.m. Jan. 1. Tickets cost between $25 and $100. Another special New Year’s Eve show, featuring a Beatles cover band, will take place in the Liverpool Club at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 31. Tickets are $25. Stick around for an extra day and take advantage of the Wipe the Slate Clean Sweepstakes, 4-10 p.m Jan. 2. A winner will be chosen each hour, and prizes range from a year’s worth of groceries, a credit card bill pay-off, or even a mortgage payment.

Rock-pop group Jimmy Eat World will play a concert on New Year’s Eve. Enjoy the show with a friend and stay overnight in the Waterfront Tower for $797 plus fees. Stay Dec. 30 through Jan. 2 and receive a total discount of $300. Room rates start at $839 a night. Guests can also experience the Rockstar Package, which includes a one-night stay in either a classic room at the Borgata or a club room at the Water Club, breakfast for two, two all access nightlife passes – general admission for two to MIXX, mur.mur and Gypsy Bar – and a $125 beverage credit. Rates for this package start at $1,165 per night. Also, Grammy- winning singer John Legend will celebrate 2010 by performing at the Borgata at 8 p.m Jan. 1. Tickets run between $66 and $96.

The home of Atlantic City’s House of Blues is showcasing alterative band O.A.R. on New Year’s Eve. Guests are invited to stay at Showboat with the House of Blues Rock and Roll New Years Package, which includes a stay in a deluxe room, VIP access to the hotel’s club, The Foundation Room, VIP access and tickets to the O.A.R show and a complementary bottle of champagne. Package is valid for Dec. 31 and costs $799 plus tax.
