Super sexy couple Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are divorcing after two years of marriage.
Johansson, 26, and Reynolds, 34, wed in 2008 in a low-key ceremony in Reynolds’ native Canada. Marital woes have long been suspected, as the two were rarely together in public.
In a joint statement Tuesday, the Manhattan couple said: “We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
UsWeekly, which first reported the story, said the couples’ work schedules sparked the split.
“They spend a lot of time apart when they are working … She’s been unhappy for a while,” a source told the magazine. Johansson, who starred in “Iron Man 2” last summer, was named GQ’s Babe of the Year. Reynolds, who stars in the upcoming comic book flick “Green Lantern,” was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive.Vote
