The fashion world has designs on getting President Barack Obama re-elected.

Vogue editor Anna Wintour and actress Scarlett Johansson hosted a style-star-studded fundraising reception Tuesday night for the new Runway to Win campaign - an effort by fashion folk to aid in Obama's re-election.

To raise funds, more than 20 top designers - including Marc Jacobs, Prabal Gurung and Alexander Wang - created chic tees (about $45), totes and other merchandise, the profits of
which will go toward Obama's campaign.

At Tuesday's swanky event - held at Theory's Gansevoort Street boutique - big-name designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Vera Wang, Thankoon Panichgul, Tracy Reese and Olivier Theyskens came out in support. A bevy of models and other fashion types were also there, among them Karolina Kurkova, Karlie Kloss and Chanel Iman.
