Sharpton aids search for missing Queens autistic boy
The friends and family of Avonte Oquendo continued to search for the missing teen over the weekend and received some extra help from the Rev. Al Sharpton.
Sharpton pledged $5,000 toward the reward to find the 14-year-old autistic boy who ran away from Center Boulevard School in Long Island City on Oct. 4. The total reward is now $89,500. Cops have been constantly combing the subways and other areas throughout the city to find Oquendo. Sharpton's National Action Network joined his family in a search on Saturday night.
