    Celebrities are often photographed in teeny bikinis on exclusive beaches. But, when the temperature drops, they bundle up in designer duds and head to ultra-exclusive ski slopes.

    Here are some celebrity ski haunts, along with options at the same luxe locales for mere mortals.

    Whistler, Canada
    Seal proposed to Heidi Klum atop a glacier at this Canadian resort town. Stars such as Justin Timberlake, Katie Holmes and Susan Sarandon have also skied here.

    For celebs…
    Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside only has 121 rooms, which keep celebs insulated from paparazzi. A two-bedroom suite has a full kitchen with a gas fireplace, a spacious seating area, two decks, soaker tubs and floor-to-ceiling windows for $1,250 a night. Toting your own personal chef? The hotel can provide a five-day, fully-stocked kitchen for an additional $950. Champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries are $238 and a half-day of spa treatments costs $562.     For mere mortals…
    The hotel is offering a SuperSAVER package. From now until May 31, guests receive 15 percent off a studio suite. A studio suite with a valley view, which has a living area and a queen-sized bed, normally costs about $208 per night, depending on travel dates.

    Aspen, Colo.
    Aspen is a favorite destination of Jack Nicholson, who often visits this Colorado ski town in between movie shoots. Catherine Zeta Jones, Michelle Pfeiffer and Victoria Beckham have also been spotted on these slopes.

    The Little Nell (675 E. Durant Ave., 888-843-6355) is one of Aspen’s premier ski properties, and its most highly sought after accommodation is The Paepcke Suite, overlooking the gorgeous Aspen Mountain. The master bedroom offers a private haven with a king size bed, oversize Jacuzzi tub, steam shower and closets with separate dressing and storage areas.     For mere mortals…
    Budget-conscious guests can book the standard town view room for $395 per night and receive two free lift tickets. Offer is valid until the end of ski season (April) and is based on double occupancy.

    Park City, Utah
    Park City is one of the wealthiest cities in America and is known for the Sundance Film Festival, which floods the city with celebs every year.

    For celebs…
    The Stein Eriksen Lodge is Utah’s only Mobil Five-Star property. The five-bedroom townhouse with a mountain view, which runs $6,390 a night, offers a secluded vacation. Bottles of Cristal ($1,000) and gourmet homemade chocolates ($42) are available, as is rose petal turn-down service ($105). After a long day of skiing, a private wine tasting with an in-house sommelier can be arranged (price varies). (7700 Stein Way, 435-649-3700)

    For mere mortals…
    Guests can book the Bronze Ski Package for $276 per person, per night, which includes a continental breakfast at the noted Glitretind restaurantand one lift ticket per person. A two-night stay is required and the rate is based on double occupancy. Children under 12 can be included in the room for no charge. The deal is valid Dec. 4-17 and March 28–April 11.

    Teton Village, Wyoming
    A favorite of both the political elite and Hollywood, notables such as Dick Cheney, Tiger Woods, Sandra Bullock and Harrison Ford have all stayed in this tiny town.

    For the celebs…
    Guests of the Snake River Lodge and Spa can stay in the Granite Ridge House, a three-story home with four bedrooms, multiple fireplaces, balconies and a wide range of amenities for $2,497.95 per night (with a minimum three-night stay). That price includes a $999 spa credit that can be used for treatments such as the Champagne mud wrap. This package is valid now through Dec. 18 and March 28-April 6.     For regular guests who want a relaxing spa experience with their ski vacation, the lodge is offering the Holiftic Ski Package. It includes double occupancy accommodations in a lodge room, a 50-minute custom massage per adult per night, breakfast each morning and discounted lift tickets. Rates start at $362 per night depending on the dates of travel. The deal is valid from now until April 6.

    Stowe, Vermont
    Most celebs go West for skiing, but the East has enough great mountains and luxury to keep celebs such as Ethan Hawke happy.

    For celebs…
    Stay in The Topnotch Resort and Spa’s luxurious three-bedroom resort homes, each with a full kitchen, dining and living rooms and private decks for $1,200. The resort can provide personal chefs for $100 an hour. The $600 Spa Works package offers a whole day of indulging. (4000 Mountain Road, 800-451-8686)

    For those on a budget, Topnotch offers the Ski for Free package, which includes overnight accommodations, two adult lift tickets and shuttle service to the slopes. The price is $250 midweek and $350 on weekends based on double occupancy. The deal is available from Nov. 29 – Feb. 4.
