Slim down with some of NYC's top suspension training classes
TRX Suspension Training - originally developed by U.S. Navy Seals - is a full body workout that uses your own body weight as resistance to burn fat, build lean muscle and improve flexibility and balance. Using nylon straps that dangle from the ceiling, students perform a variety of exercises like squats, push-ups, pull-ups, hamstring curls, suspended crunches, planks and pikes. Exercises are performed both standing and on the floor, always engaging the core muscles. Interested in giving it a shot? Read on.
