Grieving father Sylvester Stallone has asked the media to quash "the speculation and questionable reporting" regarding the death of his son, Sage Stallone, 36, who was found dead in his Los Angeles home Friday morning.
"When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain," the action star told TMZ in a statement.
"Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother, Sasha."
The loss of Sage, who first appeared at age 14 in "Rocky V" with his father, "will be felt for the rest of our lives," said Stallone. "Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."
