Golden-throated former homeless man Ted Williams is coming home to Brooklyn to appear in a reality show, his representative announced yesterday.
Williams, who was born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, will be starring in a series called “Second Chances at Life,” about his amazing journey from obscurity to fame that will begin shooting in two weeks, his rep told Gossipcop. Williams, who has candidly admitted to drug and alcohol abuse, also has a movie and book deal in progress, the rep said.
Williams, a one-time radio announcer, hit the big time two days after a video of him went viral panhandling and showing off his pipes shot by a Columbus Dispatch.
The troubled father of nine has appeared on the “Today,” show, been reunited with various family members, recorded a Kraft macaroni and cheese commercial, and checked himself into and out of a rehab facility.
