Sons of Mario Batali pen a cookbook
There is no doubt that Benno Batali, 16, and Leo Batali, 14, are young chefs in the making -- under their master chef father's guidance, they have perfected their expertise on dishes such as roasted chicken with green beans and meatballs with kale salad. And they're proving it now with "The Batali Brothers Cookbook," which is out now. The book, their first, chronicles the brothers' most triumphant recipes, from the first dish they learned to make, scrambled eggs, to the refreshing potatoes, peas and pesto ("Triple P") salad.
Here the dish on their favorite dining spots in the city, with menu items such as fresh tacos and lobster rolls -- all of which are perfect for summer.
