  • Street graffiti in Manhattan: 'V' for vexed

    My colleagues and I have, for several weeks, been searching for the meaning behind the serif "V" spray-painted at the entrances of at least two subway stations along 34th Street. What do they stand for? What haven't they been removed? Who put them there? Is it this guy, below?
