Overnight subway maintenance will shut down three more lines this week.

Service will be suspended along the A/C/E lines between 59th Street-Columbus Circle and Jay Street-MetroTech for four straight nights beginning Monday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The maintenance program, dubbed Fastrack, will end Friday morning.

NYC Transit President Tom Prendergast says the service shutdowns make doing work safer and more efficient.

The MTA says nearly 40,000 riders will be impacted by the service disruptions each night, and they should expect to add about 20 minutes to their commute.

The next round of shutdowns will begin April 9 on the No. 1/2/3 lines between Penn Station and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.
