Cops nabbed a teenage suspect Thursday in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old boy outside a Lower East Side convenience store.

Prosecutors remanded of Timothy Montalvo, 16, after his arraignment on murder and weapons charges Thursday afternoon.

The suspect admitted that he and his friends targeted Raphael Ward on Jan. 4, according to the criminal complaint.

Montalvo told investigators, "[I] saw the guy shoot the kid. I brought the gun and I handed the gun to him before he shot him," the criminal complaint said.

Ward was getting food at a bodega near the Baruch Houses where he lived when was confronted by four other teens outside the store.

The police are looking for the other suspects, who were caught on surveillance footage approaching Ward before the shooting.

The suspects may have targeted Ward for his jacket, according to published reports, but the NYPD refused to comment about a possible motive.
