The Amazing 'Spider'-update
As “Spider-Man” prepares for its hiatus from April 19 through May 11, so too does our weekly “Spider-Man” update column. After this week, look for Spidey news in Behind the Curtain.
Spider-Man vs. the Tony awards
Now that “Spider-Man” won’t be opening until June 14, it’s not eligible for consideration at this year’s Tony Awards. The amazingly revised webslinger
The process of hacking away at the Julie Taymor version of “Spider-Man” has already begun. In the revised version, the Green Goblin will replace Arachne (an invention of Taymor’s) as Spider-Man’s main nemesis. Peter Parker’s relationship with Mary Jane and his aunt and uncle will receive more stage time, and more stunts will also be added.
