The best (and worst) in Fantasy Football

With most of the season in the rearview mirror, it is time to look back on the season that was and recognize the players who were most - or least - likely to help fantasy owners contend for a title.
Fantasy MVP
Two weeks ago, I would have thought Robert Griffin III (QB, Redskins) was a lock to become the fantasy MVP, but his knee sprain in Week 14 changed all of that. Instead, the MVP goes to Adrian Peterson (RB, Vikings). Peterson rewarded fantasy owners who took a risk on him before the season by staying on pace for 2,000 yards rushing while saving some of his best performances for the end of the season.Most Impressive Sleeper
Alfred Morris (RB, Redskins) wins this award handily, as he has been a top 10 fantasy RB despite being available on waivers after Week 1 in most fantasy leagues. Randall Cobb (WR, Packers) also deserves an honorable mention as the only other sleeper to produce all season long.Most Impressive Rookie
This was one of the most talented offensive rookie classes in recent memory, but despite his injury in Week 14 it is impossible to overlook Griffin. Granted, Doug Martin (RB, Buccaneers) probably could have been the best rookie if he hadn't slowed down in the past few weeks.Most disappointing
Tough to blame him given the QBs he had throwing him the ball, but Larry Fitzgerald (WR, Cardinals) wins this award since he was a top three preseason WR who managed to disappoint despite staying injury free all year. Dishonorable mentions still go out to Michael Vick (QB, Eagles), Maurice Jones-Drew (RB, Jaguars) and Ryan Mathews (RB, Chargers) for combining injury issues with mediocre play when healthy.
