Tim Pawlenty doesn't want to be Mitt Romney's running mate
Tim Pawlenty isn't interested in a No. 2 spot behind Mitt Romney in the White House.
Pawlenty, who briefly ran for the 2012 GOP nomination, told "Face the Nation" Sunday that he would be "honored to be asked" by Romney to be his running mate, but that he should ask someone else.
"I've encouraged people who have asked this question in the campaign to look at other prospects," Pawlenty said Sunday.
"I think I can help him best in other ways," he added, like campaigning and speaking on Romney's behalf.
