Traffic cop arrested on rape charges: NYPD
An off-duty Brooklyn traffic cop was arrested late Tuesday night on rape charges, police said Wednesday.
Charles Taylor, 25, was arrested just before midnight and suspended without pay, the NYPD said.
His lawyer's name was not available last night.
Taylor is accused of raping a 17-year-old girl after giving her wine on Sunday night, the Daily News reported. A spokesman for the NYPD said he could not confirm the report.
