Here's another way to navigate the Big Apple: by logo.

NYC & Co., the city's official tourism arm, and CityMaps.com launched a new smartphone app on Monday that can be used as a map and guide to almost 90,000 restaurants, stores and other attractions.

When users search for a location within the five boroughs on NYC Map, they'll find familiar logos and names of businesses on nearby streets as well. They can also receive tweets from those businesses.

"NYC Map's use of widely recognized logos, symbols and brands is particularly helpful for our nonnative English speakers looking to get around the city," said NYC & Co. CEO George Fertitta.

The app is currently available for the iPhone and iPad, although the city wants to eventually  roll it out to other devices.
