Tribeca Film Festival: Weekend celeb report
The stars flocked to red-carpet premieres and parties for Tribeca Film Festival openings this weekend, creating buzz wherever they went.
"Glee" star Chris Colfer made his screenwriting debut with the high-school comedy "Struck By Lightning" (which he also starred in) on Saturday night, and "Glee" pal Amber Riley came out to support Colfer on his big night. Emma Watson also hit up the premiere, posing alongside good friend Roberto Aguire, who stars in the flick.
Also on Saturday: "Saturday Night Live" stars Kristen Wiig and Bobby Moynihan celebrated their roles in director Chadd Harbold’s “Revenge for Jolly!” with a bash at RDV in the Meatpacking District.
Meanwhile, on Friday, "The Girl" — starring Abbie Cornish — held an after-party, with Stolichnaya Vodka, at Chelsea hotspot 1Oak, which snowboard champ Shaun White also attended. "Jack and Diane" star Riley Keough joined director Bradley Gary Rust to celebrate their movie "Jack and Diane" at West Village bar The Westway, where partygoers sipped Wines of Argentina and DJ Harley Viera-Newton spun tunes.
