Watch it: 28 people locked in elevator
Every claustrophobic’s nightmare came true for 28 people in Washington Heights on Friday: The elevator at the 181st Street No. 1 station got stuck for more than an hour and a half. As the video shows, the stranded passengers were in surprisingly good spirits, all trying to help cheer up a young girl who was upset. Everyone made it out safely.
