Watch: Miss Utah's cringe-worthy pageant flub
The country has a new Miss USA, but the real spotlight is on Miss Utah, whose bumbling answer to a question on income equality all but took the crown of the night.
Miss Utah, aka Marissa Powell, was asked by a judge at the pageant Sunday night about a recent report showing that women are the breadwinners in 40% of U.S. families, and what that "says about society."
Her response: "I think we can relate this back to education and how we are continuing to try to strive to -- figure out how to create jobs right now," Powell said. "That is the biggest problem and, I think, especially the men are seen as the leaders of this, and so we need to -- create education better so that we can solve this problem."
