Wedge sneakers: Kick fall footwear up a notch

Sneakers are getting a makeover this season.
How so? This fall, the of-the-moment kicks are wedge sneakers.
The trend is asy to rock with skinny jeans and an oversized sweater or motorcycle jacket, or with chunky tights and a long dress - perfect for a casual day at the office, weekend brunch with pals or a laid-back evening out.
Just don't wear them to the gym.***
Upper East Side resident Tara Bedard (above), a visual merchandiser for Vince Camuto, picked up this pair by Ash at the beginning of the season. "I'm very sporty, so I figured I could wear something to work that was sporty but also trendy," she said. "And I love bright colors - I love flashy things."
