Weekend Hamptons buzz

• Love is in the Southampton air for Hoda Kotb. On Saturday afternoon, the "Today” show host was strolling down Jobs Lane hand-in-hand with her boyfriend, Jay. She looked so happy, we could see her beaming from across the street!

• Reporters waited hours for Katie Couric and Kim Cattrall to show up at Tony Ingrao and Randy Kemper’s lavish East Hampton home on Saturday night to celebrate the launch of the book “Hamptons Gardens.” Couric reportedly canceled hours before the party, while we hear Cattrall attended a post-event private dinner. Star Jones stopped by but wasn’t up for talking to the press, especially after a reporter spilled a drink on her date.

• Designer Douglas Hannant threw a dinner at Georgica in Wainscott on Friday for guests including Samantha Yanks, Alina Cho and Fern Mallis, but all eyes were on hot fashion photog Raul Higuera, whose exhibit “Couture Shock” at East Hampton's Vered Gallery is getting a ton of buzz. Higuera later moved the party to Phao in Sag Harbor.

• John Mayer seems to have a favorite Hamptons hangout. He was spotted several times during the week and on Friday night at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett. He also headed to Surf Lodge in Montauk on Saturday night.

• Dennis Rodman rang in the big 5-0 with a bash at AXE Lounge in Southampton on Saturday night. Wearing a bright-pink camisole, he sat at a table in the center of the club and received a few impromptu lap dances between fist-pumping to the music. Not bad for fifty.

• Also spotted this weekend: Carmelo Anthony taking a helicopter to the Hamptons and holding court at SL East on Saturday night ... Bethenny Frankel having a girls’ night out at Navy Beach on Saturday night.
