  • What they're thankful for

With Thanksgiving days away,  we asked a few of our favorite designers what — style-wise — they’re thankful for this year.

“Sequins. Because who isn’t thankful for sequins and glitter?” [Also] I’m thankful that the “bump-it”or the hair “poof” went away this year. Oh wait, it didn’t — that was just me dreaming.” — Christian Siriano

“I’m thankful for my custom cashmere polo sweaters — they are classic, timeless and chic.”
    Naeem Khan

“I’m thankful for the classic trench coat. It’s because of this, my Andrea trench coat design has become a signature must-have. I’m into my third season with it and getting stronger. There’s no better feeling than to find people on the street wearing it!” — Rolando Santana

“Lanvin at H&M makes me very thankful. Also, any time an Ed Hardy item is discarded— that makes me thankful! — Geren Lockhart of Geren Ford

“Pretty is back — more girls are wearing dresses and looking a bit more polished [with] red lips and sexy shoes. Our ’Frank’ dress on shopbop.com sold out, so I’m thankful women want to feel pretty again.” — Jason Cauchi of Dallin Chase

“Ear muffs! They seem to be back and I LOVE how they keep my ears warm when riding [my] bike.” — Lela Rose

“I’m most thankful for my mom’s vintage shoes. I never stop wearing them.” — Rebecca Minkoff
