Awards season is in full swing, and the nominations are in for biggest show of them all — the Academy Awards. Below, our predictions for who will take home Oscars on Feb. 27.

    Best Picture
    "The Fighter"
    "Black Swan"
    "Inception"
    "The Kids Are All Right"
    "127 Hours"
    "The King's Speech"
    "The Social Network"
    "Winter's Bone"
    "Toy Story 3"
    "True Grit"
Our prediction: "The King's Speech." The Best Picture category will be a very tight race between "The Social Network" (which has Golden Globe and Critics' Choice wins under its belt) and "Speech" (which nabbed the Producer's Guild prize and and 12 Oscar nominations total — the most of any film this year), but we're leaning toward the delightful "Speech."

    Best Director
    Darren Aronofsky - "Black Swan"
    David O'Russell - "The Fighter"
David Fincher - "The Social Network"
Tom Hooper - "The King's Speech"
Joel and Ethan Coen - "True Grit"
Our prediction: David Fincher. Only a handful of directors in Oscar history have been victorious without their films winning, but we can't imagine Fincher walking away empty-handed — even in "The Social Network" doesn't take home top prize.

    Best Actor
Colin Firth - "The King’s Speech"
    James Franco - "127 Hours"
    Javier Bardem - "Biutiful"
    Jeff Bridges - "True Grit"
Jesse Eisenberg - "The Social Network"
Our prediction: Colin Firth. An easy prediction. That said, any of the other gents in this category would've had an equal shot if this weren't the Year of Colin Firth.

    Best Actress
Natalie Portman - "The Black Swan"
Annette Bening - "The Kids Are All Right"
Nicole Kidman - "The Rabbit Hole"
    Michelle Williams - "Blue Valentine"
    Jennifer Lawrence - "Winter's Bone"
Our prediction: Natalie Portman. Hands down.

    Best Supporting Actor
    Christian Bale - "The Fighter"
Geoffrey Rush - "The King’s Speech"
    John Hawks - "Winter's Bone"
    Jeremy Renner - "The Town"
Mark Ruffalo - "The Kids Are All Right"
Our prediction: Christian Bale. Though Geoffrey Rush is a serious contender for the win, our money's on Bale, who perfected a total transformation for his role of a real-life ex-boxer/drug addict.

    Best Supporting Actress
    Melissa Leo - "The Fighter"
Helena Bonham Carter - "The King’s Speech"
    Amy Adams - "The Fighter"
    Hailee Steinfeld - "True Grit"
    Jacki Weaver - "Animal Kingdom"
Our prediction: Melissa Leo. We predict a clean sweep on the supporting front for "The Fighter."

    Best Animated Feature Film
    "How to Train Your Dragon"
    "The Illusionist"
    "Toy Story 3"
Our prediction: "Toy Story 3." It was the only animated film to be nominated for Best Picture — seems like a Best Animated shoe-in to us.
