Woman raped by man she met at Union Square subway: Police
Police are on the hunt for a man who they say raped a woman Wednesday in her Bronx hotel room after he followed her from the Union Square subway station.
The 33-year-old victim had a conversation with the suspect, described as a black man in his 30s, at E. 14th Street and Union Square some time after midnight, and took the train to her hotel, police said.
Around 4 a.m. she heard a knock on her door and when she answered, the suspect allegedly pushed his way in and raped her, according to the NYPD.
The police said they did not know how the suspect allegedly knew which room she was in.
The attacker had tattoo of the name "Tiffany" on the inside of the left forearm and a tattoo of a scorpion and the name "Ivan" on his right shoulder, police said.
