Police are searching for a man who allegedly shot a 26-year-old woman after she kicked him out of a birthday party in St. Albans, officials said.

Avalisa Morris, who also lived in St. Albans, was shot in the head and the abdomen around 4:30 a.m. allegedly by a party crasher she threw out earlier for fighting, according to published reports. She was found dead at the scene.

The Daily News reported that she was shot while guarding to door so the alleged shooter and another man she kicked out couldn’t get back in to the party.

Police said they aren’t naming suspects but are looking for a black male in connection with the shooting.
