Woman shot to death in first New York City homicide of 2013
The city had its first homicide of the year Thursday when police discovered a dead 59-year-old woman along with a wounded 22-year-old man inside a Bronx home.
The older victim, who was shot in the chest, was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victim, who was shot in the face, was taken to Jacobi Hospital and listed in stable condition.
The NYPD said it was still investigating and had no suspects as of Thursday evening.
