Woman survives jump from No. 6 train
A woman Monday survived a jump from a moving No. 6 train in Harlem, disrupting service for more than two hours, officials said.
The unidentified woman hopped off the northbound train while standing between cars north of 125th Street shortly before 12:20 p.m.
"It looked like an apparent suicide attempt," said a police spokesman.
She was taken to Harlem Hospital Center with injuries to her arm that were not life threatening, he said.
The No. 6 train was shut down in both directions between 125th Street and Third Avenue-138th Street in the Bronx
