Women making waves in Fortune's list of bold, succesful business leaders
Fortune's new "40 under 40" list of the hottest and richest business machers is topped by Yahoo's Marissa Mayer and includes 14 women - more than ever before.
The list, designed to spotlight "the year's most important young innovators, risk-takers and rule-breakers in business," is distinctly tech-heavy, but notes that many of its precocious winners are "rocking businesses as diverse as air travel, natural gas, and genetic coding, as well as - if you can believe it - government."
