Former state senator admits to embezzling taxpayer dollars
Former state Sen. Shirley Huntley pleaded guilty Wednesday to embezzling more than $87,000 in taxpayer money while she was in office.
Huntley, who faces five years in prison, would pay restitution for the money that went to a phony educational program in southeast Queens, according to prosecutors.

Turkish police released video footage Tuesday of the Staten Island woman who went missing in Istanbul.
The footage shows Sarai Sierra, 33, wearing a hat, jeans and a brown leather coat, eating alone in a Turkish restaurant and then walking alone down a street, wearing headphones.
