Queens-Midtown Tunnel: Full service restored for Monday morning commute
The Queens-Midtown Tunnel is set to open Monday for regular traffic flow for the first time since Superstorm Sandy, the MTA said Sunday.
From 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., three lanes will be open into Manhattan.
"With this change, the Queens-Midtown Tunnel has been fully restored to pre-Sandy service," Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday.

Elmo puppeteer resigns amid new underage sex allegations
Sesame Street lost one of its mainstays Tuesday, as the voice and puppeteer of Elmo resigned amid new allegations that he had sex with an underage boy.
